Mother Freedom

I cam across New Bedford, MA based brand Mother Freedom via my buddies at Northern Grade’s instagram. A shot of a tweed hunting jacket jetted me straight to their website to investigate. Mother Freedom is a heritage inspired men’s sportswear brand with self proclaimed “pieces with purpose” (already a fan of that!) that reflect the brand’s New England roots. Their 12,000 square foot factory in New Bedford has re-energized domestic production in the area. The town was an obvious choice considering its legacy as the best fishing port in the country, along with its history of being a home to many a skilled textile artisans. I appreciate how much credit and respect this brand gives to its home base, further emphasizing the benefits and importance of bringing garment production back to our domestic factories. The garments themselves feature expert attention to detail, incredible quality,  and classic style. I look forward to keeping a tab on this brand.
