If you’re in New York City this evening, I highly recommend buying a ticket to hear John Irving for the opening night of the spring 2013 season of LIVE from the NYPL. John is a good family friend and he’s an amazing person to hear speak. This event will be his sole appearance in NYC celebrating the paperback release of his new book In One Person, so I would recommend doing everything you can to get yourself there.
