After living in the South End of Boston for three years, my boyfriend and I will be moving to the very quaint (and very unheard-of) neighborhood of Cambridgeport on June 1st. Why, you ask? We’ll be getting twice the square footage for the same price without sacrificing the quiet charm of tree lined streets. We will lose the growing tourism in our current neighborhood, which neither of us can complain about. Needless to say, I’ve been drooling over odds and ends for the home and can’t wait to start sprucing up the new apartment. For the next few days I’ll be posting some of my favorite finds, mostly from US general stores and boutiques. Each post will be centered on a specific room/living area. Today is the most important room of all – the kitchen. Click on the images above to be led to the product page. And please feel free to comment about other shops you know of that have great selections! Shops sourced here include: Kauffman Mercantile, Brook Farm General Store, Terrain, HN Williams, Canoe, Emerson Made, Maine Float Rope

shout out to Williams store… nice.
Terrain is the BEST. Every time I set foot in that store I want to move in. Stat.
Yay! Another convert to Cambridge! Hope the move goes well- we’ll have to grab drinks when you are all settled on this side of the river.
